Farnham in Surrey

Farnham is a charming English country town. This market town has a deep history, which goes back to the Bronze Age, and the well preserved twelfth century Farnham Castle. Visited by Mary Tudor and Queen Elizabeth I, Farnham Castle offers good views of Farnham and beyond. The Georgian buildings and courtyards make Farnham a pretty town, with many commuters choosing to reside here and work in nearby London. Farnham has been a prime place to live for many reasons, including its close proximity to London, and for military officers the nearby Aldershot, the “Home of the British Army.” Take a walk down the picturesque Castle Street, which runs through the town center up to the castle.
