Sidmouth a coastal resort, is located in East Devon. This town is surrounded by hills and cliffs. Each year, the town has one of the world’s most awaited events, the Sidmouth International Festival of Folk Arts. This event brings many famous celebrities and entertainers who assemble for a week of over 500 thrilling shows, and a folk song segment featuring various ethnicities. Sidmouth is always extremely busy for the week in August when the Folk Festival is in town so if you were looking for the tranquility that can usually be found, you would be wise to avoid visiting during that week.
