Conference Centre, hostel and meeting place for
Scouts and Guides from all over the world,
stands close to the Natural History Museum, not

Albert Hall and convenient for public transport for Central London. The six-storied building remains one of the most tasteful and distinguished within a wide area. The wide, glazed entrance gives onto a spacious, airy
foyer from which a broad staircase leads to the
public rooms and hostel accommodation. The
foyer also houses a permanent exhibition, 'The
B.-P. Story', which traces the career of Robert
Baden-Powell through writings, pictures and
many personal effects. There is also a video
which traces the beginning of Scouting.
