Named after and remodelled on William Shakespeare’s original Globe theatre, this one was opened in 1997. Shakespeare's plays are performed from May to September with tickets available from the booking office. The cheapest tickets are for standing room which is the authentic way that his plays would have been watched. There is also an exhibition which is open all year round.
