Golden Hinde Sailing Museum

The Golden Hinde is a real sailing galleon which has made a cicumnavigation of the world and sailed over 140,000 miles. The ship has five levels of deck, including the gun deck and 22 cannons. It is a reconstruction of the ship that Sir Francis Drake cicumnavigated the world between 1577 and 1580. The crew members are dressed in period costume. It is now permamnently berthed near London Bridge and Shakespeares Globe Theatre.
