SKYE is one of the largest and well known islands off the NorthWest coast of Scotland. It is well known for it’s beautiful mountains and consequently the mountaineers and walkers travel far and wide to climb the peaks. In addition to the landscape Skye has standing stones, brochs, ruined buildings and deserted settlements. There are the usual activities such as fishing, bird watching and photography ( lighting is said to be excellent) and ofcourse shopping, eating and just relaxing. Skye can be reached either by bridge or ferry.
