STIRLING is situated between the Highlands and Lowlands with it’s castle perched on a rocky crag, The castle was used as a fortress and a royal palace, restoration has been carried out on the hammerbeam roof to reveal the original scale. The streets leading to the castle are the oldest parts of Stirling. Visit the William Wallace Monument
