This is now firmly established as London’s largest and best-known antique and street market (Saturday only). For a great many years collectors and the public in general have descended on this area to browse through and to delve into the extensive and fascinating range of antiques on display of more than 1500 dealers. The market extends from the area of Chepstow Villas where the antiques are concentrated through to Westway where a general assortment of objects is offered for sale. Portobello is extremely popular particularly from about 10.00 am onwards. From Monday to Friday it consists of a fresh fruit and vegetable market.
