Marlborough in Wiltshire

Marlborough, a market town surrounded by great historical areas, is a great place to visit. From the various shops along the Georgian lanes to the Savernake Forest, there are excellent opportunities to take a leisurely walk. Marlborough is centrally located to many of the most famous ancient constructions such as Stonehenge and Avebury, which are sites of humongous stone circles, in addition to Silbury Hill and West Kennet Longbarrow, both amazing yet mysterious creations. The Kennet and Avon Canal is approximately 86 miles long and offers plenty of great spots for fishing. The Wilton Windmill, a fully restored mill that on occasion is still operation.
